We took Ellie to see her first fireworks tonight. She seemed to like the first few but then wanted to leave after they started to get a little louder. I think she would have enjoyed them more if it wasn't so far past her bed time.
The Tour de France started today which I am excited about. I started watching the Tour back in 2001 when I came across it by chance on Outdoor Live Network. I have been hooked ever since. It always helps to motivate me with my running. I started riding a lot when we were in Colorado but have not been on my bike since we moved back to WV. I would really like to get back to it some day.
I know this post is about a whole lot of nothing but it is just a quick overview of this week. Congratulations to my sister Marrie and her husband Jason on their new daughter and my first niece Layah! She was born today and everyone is doing well. Her birthday should be very easy to remember!
